James was out on a patrol. There was a lot of extra work at the moment, partly because of the election closing in, partly cause of the breakout (or break in) at the city prisson. James knew it would happen, wich was why he personally wanted him in the most secure part of the prison. The prison itself also had some major changes. Glass in 3rd and 4th floor was replaced by bullet proof glass, and the number of guards was improved. This allong with the grow of patrols ment there was a lot of stress in the CPF and PK.
He jumped off of a building, skillroled and turned left. he avoided a barbedwire fence by jumping around it, wallrun 2 steps then jump of the wall on the other side. Then he saw a shadow. A man had jumped from a rooftop on James' right, to James' left, right above James. James quickly used a wallrun jump wallclimb jump to get to the roof the runner was landed on. It seemed he hadnt noticed James yet. James picked up speed, getting closer to the runner. Suddenly the runner noticed he was being folowed, and tried first to get rid of James via some long dangerous jumps. James noticed he cleared the jumps even better than the runner. "Dont mess with the professional" he thought. The runner seemed to realise the same after a third dangerously long jump, cause he turned around to fight instead of fleeing.
The runner first threw a punch at James face, wich he avoided. Then the runner tried to kick James, but he parried the beautifull circlekick with his hands, and twisted the leg. this seemed to overwhelm the runner, who lost balance, and felt. The runner quickly backrolled, but James was already running at him, and made a flying kick, forcing the runner even longer backwards. James quickly pulled his tazer, and aimed at the runner. "Freeze!" he shouted. The runner didnt realise he was defeated, and ran towards James to attack again. James pulled the trigger, and the two darts hit the runners clothing, sending an initial shock on 50 kiloVolts through his bodey. The runner instantly got paralised.
"Its funny ... the human bodey: It relies on electric signals sendt though the nerve system to move a muzzle, but if the bodey is affected by high voltage, it cannot see the signals. Each time I press the trigger ill send a new shock through your bodey, making you loose control of your bodey again. So dont try to run" James said, backing a bit away from the runner. "Tell me, what is your name, and what are you doing here?"
"Kasper. The name is Kasper Thorsen." "You do know its is strickly forbidden to use the roof for transportation right? Why are you here then?" "Uhm... to avoid the roadblocks?" "So?... You don't think theres a REASON they are there? Could it be because of the mayor election? I know you are a runner, and I know you are a NCO-runner right?" No answer, James threatened to press the trigger again "RIGHT?" "YES yes I am!" "You picked a bad time being caught: Theres more patrols than ever, and the prison's security has ben rised cause of that breakout... " "There was a breakout?" "Yes, or a break in, some NN runners released a fellow runner. But dont think that wil happen again!" James sent another shock thorugh Kasper's bodey, picked him up, and carried him to a nearby patrol, where a CPF took him, and drove him to the station.
