Burke walked in the door of dions apartment. max and will followed. they were still saddened by Isaacs sudden act of bravery for his team. Burke flipped on the lights and what she saw amazed her. Isaac was laying there, on the couch, laptop in hand, just examining the police locations in the city.
"Isaac!" she exclaimed, and ran up and hugged him. followed by max, followed by will.
"i met up with him on the way there," said dion "we ran home together."
"how the hell did you survive the crazy-ass, kamakaze stunt back there?" asked max.
"if I told you that, you'd be as good 'a runner as me, wouldn't you?" replied Isaac
"prolly not" said max
"the fact is: I'm home, and were okay. now yets keep it there. go get some sleep, guys. It's been a big day."
with that, Isaac flipped off the lights, and undloaded the couch bed where max and Burke had to sleep. will slept in the loveseat, and Isaac went back to his desk. he had a long night ahead of him.
