Dion called for Burke "Burke how much can we trust Lenne?" "what do you mean?" "I mean would she tell the CPF where we are if she got paid 125k for it?" "What? Why are you asking?" "Chek this" Dion said, and showed Burke the screen of his PC. On the screen a customized version of Firefox. The page shown was from the CEC news site, and included a list of pictures and names of not less than 14 runners all from the NN. The five in the buttom of the list was all written with red, and was Burke, Max, Will, Isaac and Dion. In the end of the description there was the word "bounty:" folowed by the number 5000 for the top ten, and 15000 for the buttom five.
"five times fifteen k is 75k, plus the 50k from the other ten, thats 125k for telling the CPF where we are!"

Burke sighed. Hiding the entire NN in her ex girlfriend's house was a risk as is, but with 125k on their heads she felt it might be worth thinking twice. She stared at the screen for a while. "I don't know." After an intense five minutes, Burke left the room.
Lenette was sitting on the window sill in the living room, she must have heard Burke come in, but she didn't look. Burke stared for a long time. For some reason she knew everything would be okay, but it would be hard to convince those downstairs. She trusted Lenette.
"Hey, Leila." Lenette turned around and faced her, there was concern on her face, but it didn't disturb Burke. She thought jumping straight to the issue would cause problems, but she figured the best way to deal with this situation would be to be as straightforward as possible. "I heard about the bounty." Burke only nodded in response, Lenette smiled a bit and walked up to Burke. "People are really going to be looking out for you now. . . You know what's weird, when we first started training together, I knew it would come down to this eventually. I was upset when you left, but I knew when the time came that you needed me again I'd be ready. 125,000 is a lot for a bounty, and I have all of you right here, all I'd have to do is call the CPF and I'd be rolling in cash I didn't need. But trading lives for money is not how I roll. Especially with your life. I'd rather pay 125,000 to have you safe than earn that much for turning you in. And your team means a lot to you, not that I'd turn them in otherwise, but I'll do my best to keep you guys out of trouble."
Burke stared at Lenette for a while, as if she was deciding if she were telling the truth. She half laughed half cried, "It's times like this that make me wonder why I broke up with you. Just prove it to me," Burke hugged Lenette and went back to the team. She didn't say anything about what she heard, but she felt more confident.

Isaac came barreling out of the basement, happy, as he normally was ( ):< emo boy). "hey' guys!" he exclaimed. the other tenants looked at him in silence. "have you not heard about the bounty?" asked Dion, frustratedly "yeah" said Isaac "well, what is your plan, tracker?" "well, haven't they always kinda wanted us?" "yeah, but who knows what the new mayor will do?" "he may ramp up his game," said Isaac, "but do you think it's too much to handle?" "possibly" "well, i'm not sure what's going on now, so why not just roll with the punches?" said Isaac "so he may send the swat team, we may have to relocate again and whatnot, but as long as we still have clients, we still have a means of living and supporting ourselves" "true" Isaac sat down and dozed off
