With an average upbringing in Middleton Ohio, Sora had very small chance of ever leaving her hometown. In a town of traditionalists, she was labeled unconventional and insubordinate. While she didn't have much of a social life, her mind was mostly focused on her studies. Brighter than all the rest, she took college courses while her classmates went to the mall.
Graduating from High School, she went straight to Harvard. While she was really challenged there, she managed to pass with average grades, and the BAR exam wasn't a walk in the park for her either. But with enough to have a license, she found that no one whom hired her would keep her very long.
Apparently, she was still as non-traditional and insubordinate as ever. Out of a job, and volunteering, she was contacted by a man named Douglas Forn III. She accepted his offer to be his personal, Chief Legal Officer.
