A file was put on her desk.
She didn't immediately look at it, Sora was too busy with everything else at hand. She was trying to get Malovar Gurrendo to see how his situation didn't mean he was going to jail.
Not if she had anything to say about, not if her boss didn't want him in jail.
"I'm certain that you will not even see court Mr. Gurrendo." She listened. "Yes. I'll call you personally to congratulate you."
She clicked off her earpiece. She looked over her unkept desk to the file, it read,
ISSAC PRESTON
"Well Issac Preston, what have you done to capture the attention of Mr. Forn?"
She began looking over the documents.

Walking down the halls of the prison she knew she would get cat-called, insulted, spit-on, or worse yet: proposed to. Yet keeping focus was easy. Pretty soon the guard led her up to cell-block # 344. Inside sat a young man who's seen much, but spoke very little, or none at all. This was going to be difficult.
"Issac Preston?"

Isaac slowly raised his head, brushed his hair out of his face, and raised his eyebrows. he was waiting for another question.

"While I sympathise with you," She looked away and said under her breath, "...more than you know," she turned back toward Issac and continued as loud and clear as before, "I hope that you can afford a great lawyer, because when my boss makes me go after someone,... Well let's just say things have a way of working out. For me."

Isaac smiled smugly, he wasn't going to try to escape from this lady, who seemed more like holly's replacement than anything else. although it would've been relatively easy, but yet, he still responded "I don't think I'll need one. things have a way of working out for me too, especially when faced with overwhelming odds."

"Other people would consider that being painted into a corner. Can't say I've ever been in that situation. I'm always the one doing the painting. That wasn't a threat. It was... a friendly word of advice. You're hearing will be set for sometime this week. Next time I'll see you, you may need more than wishful hope to defend you. You have a good day now." She turned to leave.

For the next inumerable count of days, Isaac remained in jail. he kept a low profile, and if he managed to piss anyone off royally, he just stealthily avoided them until they all but forgot about it. Isaac kept quiet, he kept to himself, and his cellmate was pretty much the same way. suprisingly, Isaac met no other runners in jail. his tattoos however, gave him away.
slowly but surely, Isaac knew, that his court date was coming. his way out. what charges could they stick on me? Isaac wondered. Evading police, sure, that doesn't usually keep you locked up long, but, as far as Isaac knew, he was caught and brought in for the events that happened one week ago with that PK. no other crimes could they pin on him... he hoped.

The case would proceed.
But Sora had more pressing matters to attend to at this moment.

Isaac walked into the courtroom with a plan. the case was Isaac Preston Vs. the city, and Isaac Preston had his best (or so he believed) buddy in the court with him. Jeffi McCarter. Jeffi was dressed in a monkey suit that made him look sharp, especially for being so flabby. on the table to the left of them was Richard M. Omalley. he was also dressed well, and clearly meant business. Immediately, intense arguements ensued. there were no winesses of anything but the chase, and The Court Could not arrest Isaac Preston for many reasons, firstly, It was entrapment to have him set up like that, and secondly, there was no package to get, so Isaac could not simply be assumed guilty of entering the alley for the package. They were able to fine him 4000 for resisting arrest, and running, but in the end, could prove nothing. Isaac walked away scot-free
